April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She began the guitar and piano lessons in the 7th grade, which ignited the interest of her. At the age of 12 when she wrote her first single Different. At the age of 14, April was devoted for a long period of time to making song lyrics and working on the music she was playing. In the following months, April started taking trips in NY and LA along with her dad in order for them both to write songs. April was also able to add other themes in the track "Take My Hand" for a few of her friends who dealt with concerns like peer pressure disabilities, and even teens who committed suicide. Lockhart is a beauty and lifestyle influencer with a growing fan base. She collaborates with the renowned brand Ilia with whom she has a partnership as well as being an expert in the field of lifestyle. It's true that she was born with no left hand, and it is what makes her different. However, this isn't the only thing about her. As a result Lockhart's Instagram page isn't afraid to talk about her handicap, however it doesn't center around her disability as well. The message is? It's important to keep in mind that everyone has numerous faces. Our identities are diverse and we're more than our bodies. Lockhart stated in a video interview that she doesn't wish to be defined by her physical disability. She doesn't wish to be a disability advocate who only talks about that.
