Zazie Olivia beetz was born on January 1, 2001 in Berlin. Her father is an German cabinet maker who immigrated in America in the year 1990. United States in 1990 after the falling of the Berlin Wall, and her mother is a South African American social worker who hails from New York. Beetz graduated from at the same school with Jennifer Aniston. Beetz pursued her French education through Skidmore College, after graduating LaGuardia. The auditions began immediately following having graduated from college. After a few auditions in Atlanta, she landed the role of Van. Beetz was the daughter of an African American father as well as mother who was a German mother born in Berlin from Berlin was raised as an ethnically diverse New Yorker. Performing in community theaters and local stages since the age of five, Zazie found her joy in grade school and grew to become an actor. Zendaya achieved her Disney Channel breakout role thanks her amazing dance skills. In 2010, the actor and dancer was finally offered her breakthrough part when she got the role as Rocky Blue in the show 'Shake It Up', alongside co-star Bella Thorne. Zendaya was 11 when she went vegetarian after seeing the slaughterhouse on an excursion with her father. She told PEOPLE, "I thought it was awful, all those animals getting packed up and ready to be slaughtered. "I would never believed it was how I'd obtained my food!" Since then she's been adhering to a strict diet based on plants.
