Katherine Heigl discusses her experiences living in a white bubble has impacted the way that she parented her adopted family of multiracial origins. In an interview with her, Katherine Heigl said recently that, with regards to the color of her skin, it doesn't really matter. But after speaking to her sister, who was adopted from South Korea she realized just how differently society treats people of different races. "I asked Meg what she thought about being different when she went out with us parents than the times she was out by herself. Meg replied, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl admitted to parents, "That made me realise that I had been so ignorant." She confessed that she was mad and felt it was necessary to use her anger to support her daughters. Heigl, who has been with Josh Kelley for 13 years, have a son, Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. They were adopted by Nancy Leigh from South Korea at the age of 12 in 2009. followed by Adalaide aged 8 who is now older and was Black in 2012.
